See you at MoCCA 2011 (April 9-10)
I am going to be tabling at the MoCCA Festival (link) during the weekend of April 9-10! I will be with the Boston Comics Roundtable.
I also have a new story in an anthology related to the New England Comics Arts in the Classroom conference. I think. More info to follow.

Flower shop anecdote
I was at a flower shop yesterday. A young guy, a slightly acne-faced college student with a styled black shirt, was helping a customer, an older man with silver hair and a worn face.
The older gentleman shook his head, saying gruffly, "I just can't decide which rose."
"It's a hard decision, sir," the younger guy nodded, quite seriously. "But you gotta go with your heart." He soberly thumped his fist against his heart to emphasize his statement.
For some reason, this scene stayed with me for the rest of the sunlit day.

Traveling and being evacuated out of workplace
I have been traveling to Montreal and finishing a comic.
On other news, I was dawdling at leaving work today. Then someone spilled a chemical in the hallway (or so I heard), and the entire building was evacuated. At that point, I did pack up and leave work.
If it wasn't for deadlines, we'd get nothing done.
